SENSORY GARDEN AT WASHINGTON OPEN 

2017

In 2017, I had the privilege to help redesign several outdoor common areas at my children's school.  .  Muddy when it rained, hot and dusty when during the dry season, the space was a liability for teachers before the redesign.  Now the space is an extension of the classroom. 

With support of the entire school community, this area has become a sensory garden bustling with aroma and colors. After two years, it only needs some supplemental watering in summer to maintain.
